"He dropped me on my head when we first met. I was 4 weeks old, he was drunk, and it was an accident. I went home with him at 9 weeks, and struggled with my own anxiety, energy, and exuberance.
He trained me to chill, function, play, and to feel safe in the world. He quit drinking when I was 3. I cuddled with him the night before he left for rehab, and I missed him while he was gone.
When he came home, everything was different. We traveled from Mexico to Alaska, camped and hiked in awesome places, moved to a couple cities, (that wasn't as much fun), moved into a bus and went back to Alaska, then found our forever home here on the Olympic Peninsula.
He now lives simply, intentionally, humbly, and led by spirit. He follows his passion and joy, and shares his love and light with all who would like to drink from his cup.
He's also a great drummer, although I don't like to listen too much...loud noises still freak me out.
And, he is my best friend, my brother, my father, and my soul counterpart. I love him, very much."
